Forrester High School in Edinburgh has been successful in obtaining a grant from the Anna Burnett Trust amounting to £1480 for forty art packs. These will enable certificate students (S3 and upwards) in less affluent environments to produce work at home which is part of the course requirements. Students produce a portfolio of their best work for assessment, which consists of a design and expressive project. The main emphasis is on students to finish work outside the classroom – at home or on study leave.
